Boss WL-50 Wireless Guitar System for Pedalboard Integration
The Boss WL-50 Wireless Guitar System is designed to seamlessly integrate into any pedalboard, providing a quick and easy way to create a wireless rig. The WL-50 system features Boss high-performance wireless technology, delivering a wide dynamic range with ultra-low latency and rock-solid audio. It also includes an in-built cable tone simulation, offering two different cable lengths to reproduce the natural capacitive effect of a short or long guitar cable, or bypass it altogether. The receiver can be powered by two AA batteries for ultimate portability, and can also provide power to additional stompboxes when powered via an AC adaptor, making it incredibly versatile for life on the road.

For the WL-50, Boss used the same high-performance wireless technology that debuted in the Katana-Air, providing incredible sound quality and a wide dynamic range. The system runs on a 2.4 GHz frequency band and automatically selects the optimum channel for a rock-solid audio performance with no possibility of signal dropouts. It also boasts an ultra-low latency of 2.4ms, ensuring there is no lag between playing a note and hearing it.

The WL-50 also features a built-in cable tone simulation, which recreates the natural capacitive effect that occurs when a guitar or bass with a passive pickup is connected to a cable. This effect slightly adjusts the level of treble produced by the guitar, adding a warm characteristic for a realistic wired performance. The receiver offers the choice between two different cable lengths (short or long), or the option to bypass the simulation completely.

Setting up the WL-50 is quick and easy. Unlike other wireless systems that require adjustments to channels and frequencies, the WL-50 only requires the transmitter to be docked in the receiver for 10 seconds. This automatically sets up the system with the best connection, allowing you to simply plug in and start playing. The transmitter can be recharged via a micro USB, while the receiver can be powered by an AC adaptor or two AA batteries, making it ideal for use anywhere. Additionally, the receiver can also power additional stompboxes when connected to an AC adaptor, making it a perfect addition to any pedalboard.
