Operating at the 2.4 GHz frequency band, it automatically selects the optimal channel for a rock-solid audio performance without any signal dropouts. With an ultra-low latency of 2.4ms, there is no lag between playing a note and hearing it. Unlike the WL-20, the WL-20L does not feature cable tone simulation. This is ideal for instruments that are not affected by cable capacitance, such as electric/acoustic guitars with onboard preamps, instruments with active pickups, or line-level devices like a keytar or the Roland Aerophone. The WL-20L can also be used with passive pickups if you do not require the natural treble roll-off.
Setting up the WL-20L is quick and easy. Unlike other wireless systems that require adjusting channels and frequencies, the WL-20L only needs the transmitter to be docked in the receiver for 10 seconds to establish the optimum connection. Once set up, you can simply plug in and start playing. The wireless system charges via a micro USB cable, allowing you to charge the transmitter and receiver anywhere in the world.
