Once connected to a Windows or Mac computer, the X-Dante expansion card allows complete control through Audinate’s Dante Controller application. This gives you the ability to configure and route signals among multiple Dante-equipped devices. Additionally, replacing the X-USB card does not mean you have to give up your recording interface. The Dante Virtual Soundcard software can be downloaded to enable Ethernet-based recording and playback with your preferred DAW software.
Full remote control is possible using the integrated Ethernet switch. By using the Audinate Dante Controller application, you can have full control over configuration and signal routing among your Dante-enabled devices. The X-Dante expansion card seamlessly integrates with various current installations, such as large venues, churches, and concert halls. This allows for reliable sound using standard Ethernet switches, making it a cost-effective solution compared to physical wired links.
