Birch wood is ideal for applications requiring the extra presence and cut whilst providing boosted high frequencies and a great low end. Compact size – ideal for travel These small diameter shells deliver the Stage Custom sound without compromise. They are ideal for jazz light session work and small venues. The shells can be tuned higher and make less noise than bigger drums making them perfect for music that requires something light and tight. Yamaha Hardware The tom is mounted via the YESS system this features helps to eliminate potential dampening that may occur when the hardware is drilled directly into the shell giving the tom more resonance and volume.
