Premium Birch Shells The Yamaha Stage Custom Birch is equipped with 6-ply birch shells which help create a strong sound whilst offering enhanced durability. The 20 bass drum and 14 floor tom create deep heavy sounds which are well suited to use with any rock music. The Stage Custom shell pack is equipped with Remo drum heads for smooth accurate responses across all of the drums. The toms have Remo Ambassador Clear drum heads whilst the bass drum features Remo Powerstroke 3 drum heads. A classic wooden hoop on the bass drum also guarantees great sound and playability. Ball Mount Clamp Positioning The ball mount and clamp consists of a hard resin ball that sits inside chrome housing located on the tom mount. This ball mount and clamp offers ultimate positioning letting you position the toms in nearly any way your setup requires. The tom itself is held in place by a titanium wing bolt this helps to achieve non-slip positioning. This feature is specifically handy for tuning the bottom head allowing you to easily rotate the drum head without affecting your setup. Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System The YESS system creates minimum contact with the hardware of the shell and connects the hardware with the nodal part of the drum – making sure it doesnt interfere with shell vibration.
