The Yamaha DZR15-D Active PA Speaker is a Dante-equipped compact 15 speaker designed for portable and installed applications within a variety of environments. The Yamaha DZR15-D features a 15 low frequency driver and a 2 high-frequency driver both of which are powered via a bi-amplified design with class-D amplifiers. All of the loudspeakers within Yamahas DZR series are equipped with 96kHz DSP processors FIR-X tuning and D-CONTOUR multi-band compressors. The integrated 2-channel mixer allows you to connect a variety of sources whilst the onboard LCD screen enables you to navigate settings and make adjustments with ease. Two-Way Class-D Amplified Design The Yamaha DZR series is the latest flagship range of loudspeakers from Yamaha. The active speaker is features a 2-way bass-reflex design with a 15 low-frequency driver and a 2 high-frequency driver. Yamaha DZR series active speakers are powered via premium-quality class-D amplifiers which provide up to 2000 watts of peak power. The LF transducer features a 3 voice coils cast aluminium frames and a lightweight neodymium magnet resulting in a tightly controlled sound and in distortion-free performance. The HF transducer utilises a 2 voice coil and a 1 throat compression driver with a titanium diaphragm for sparkling high-end performance. Integrated Dante Connectivity The Yamaha DZR-D series speakers are equipped with Dante connectivity for smart system integration with Yamaha mixing consoles. This provides optimal flexibility when it comes to live applications allowing you to directly communicate with your Yamaha mixing console and stageboxes. The Dante I/O features a 2in/2out configuration as well as SRC (Sample Rate Conversion) allowing 48kHz compatibility. This allows you to quickly and easily patch Yamaha CL/QL digital mixing consoles or take advantage of Quick Config with TouchFlow series mixers. Advanced FIR-X Tuning & 96kHz DSP Processors One of the most unique features of the DZR loudspeaker range is the integrated 96kHz DSP processors helping to provide the high-power output the speaker delivers. The result is high-definition audio performance with super-low latency. The FIR-X Advanced Tuning technology uses linear phase FIR filters for the crossover network. The FIR filters allow you to achieve a smooth frequency response resulting in exceptional clarity and sound imaging without phase distortion. EQ filtering capabilities are also included for fine-tuning adjustments with best-in-class SPL without signal degradation. D-CONTOUR Multi-Band Compressor Another innovative feature of the DZR speaker is the built-in D-CONTOUR multi-band compressor ensuring a consistent and clear sound at any volume. The D-CONTOUR compressor works by measuring the output of the frequency bands then applying the optimum EQ adjustment settings ensuring clear and clean sound even at high output levels. D-CONTOUR provides you with two settings: FOH/MAIN or MONITOR mode allowing detailed tuning of your PA system. The FOH/MAIN mode helps to raise lower frequencies and compensates for low-end that can be missing when speakers are used on a monitor stand or suspended. The MONTIOR mode is designed for floor monitoring applications optimising your frequency response to match various settings.
