Waldorf Iridium Synthesizer
The Waldorf Iridium Digital Synthesizer is a compact unit that features the powerful Quantum engine. It is designed for sound designers and musicians, offering a groundbreaking synth engine that allows for limitless creativity. The synthesizer provides a wide range of sound shaping controls, including tonality modulation and more. It has a 16-voice polyphony with duo-timbral performance and three oscillators that can be used in various modes. The 16 pad RGB backlit matrix is ideal for creating sequences, and the synthesizer also includes a built-in arpeggiator, six envelopes, and six LFOs. The three stereo filters per voice allow for modulation of tones in a variety of modes, and the built-in touch screen display makes navigation and control quick and easy. Experience the future of sound design with the Waldorf Iridium today.

The Waldorf Iridium takes the same sound engine used in the Quantum and houses it in a compact desktop synth. The powerful engine offers infinite possibilities in sound production, with a range of controls and effects for endless sound variations. It features eight voices with speech and spectrum functionality, providing incredible depth and character to your sound. At its core are three digital oscillators that can run independently in one of four synthesis algorithms. The first algorithm utilizes wavetable synthesis, allowing you to create sound by sweeping through wavetables. The second algorithm is waveform mode, offering traditional subtractive waves such as sine and square wave. The Iridium is packed with LFOs, envelopes, and complex modulation options that allow for the creation of any sound imaginable. The unique Modulation Matrix provides 40 slots for incorporating various sources such as envelopes and LFOs for in-depth control. The Komplex Modulator enables the creation of additional envelopes or LFOs to expand the sound design palette. The Iridium also offers a wide range of filtering options, including both 12dB and 24dB LP/HP/Bandpass filters, as well as models inspired by famous synths like the Waldorf Nave Largo. The ergonomic layout of the Iridium makes it easy to create sounds on the fly, with dedicated knobs for major controls and a touchscreen display for setting and parameter navigation. With its streamlined workflow and versatile connectivity, the Iridium is suitable for sound design and live performances alike.

Features of the Waldorf Iridium include five different synth modes for each oscillator, over 100 factory sounds, 2GB user sample flash memory, a 3×3 silicon pad matrix with RGB backlights, an arpeggiator and step sequencer, 16-voice polyphony duo-timbral capability, compatibility with the Waldorf Quantum synth engine, up to 7000 patch saving, various filter models including those from Waldorf Nave Largo and PPG, dual filter control, a large color touch screen for hands-on control, the ability to draw Komplex Modulator curves with your finger, envelope display indicating the current position of the voices, comprehensive view modes for wavetables, VU meters showing the usage and individual voice levels, and different analyzers showing the audio signal at different points.

The dimensions of the Waldorf Iridium are 440mm (W) x 305mm (D) x 85mm (H), and it weighs 5.4kg.
