Specifically designed to be used with the Vandoren alto clarinet leather ligature the pressure plates can be easily interchangeable thanks to the integrated velcro system. The three different materials are perfectly suited for specific playing styles. The metal plate provides a compact sound with some edge to the sound the smooth leather plate produces a darker tone with slightly more focus and the supple leather plate produces a soft and rounded sound with less edge.

Smooth leather plate – made from the same leather as the ligature it creates a focused compact sound that is slightly darker. Supple smooth leather plate – made from a more supple leather it gives a rounder more ample sound.
