Built with a fantastic choice of tonewoods the combination of linden back and sides and a delightful spruce top results in a sound which is balanced in every frequency range. The use of linden provides a feeling of warmth filling out the low end of the tone simultaneously grounding the mids providing a fantastic base for the spruce to elevate. Beautifully bright and punchy the spruce top ensures excellent projection and dynamic contrast enforcing the high end of the instrument. Tanglewood have delivered yet again. It’s acoustic emission is incredible thanks in two parts to the natural capabilities of the spruce top and its inclusion of two f-holes which push the waves on their way.
