The drum shells are made from a hybrid of Birch and Walnut which clearly defines the attack of the birch and the warm resonance of the Walnut. The Starclassic Kit also allows you to position your toms closer together with the Star-Cast Mounting System providing maximum resonance and stability for a more comfortable playing experience. The Starclassic Walnut/Birch kit also has Quick-Lock tom brackets which help to reduce the transference of vibrations between drums. The die-cast hoops make tuning more consistent and offer a crisper attack clear and resonant highs and add much more power to rim shots. The Starclassic from Tama are supplied with Evans drumheads aside from the bass drum which is fitted with Genera EQ4 clear batter heads for more solid striking sounds.
