The Tama Hi-Carbon 14 Super Sensitive Concert Snare Wire 20 Strand is a high quality snare wire from Tama featuring 20 strands of super sensitive hi-carbon steel that responds to even the slightest touch from any area of the head. The wires have been redesigned using new materials customising the shape of the plate and even changing the wire coil winding pattern. The result means that the super sensitive hi-carbon wires fit closer to the snare side head providing greater sensitivity and a brighter crisper sound. The end plates are crafted from bell brass for further sensitivity and the straps have been replaced with string to provide a vintage tone and aesthetic as well as being easier to lock in place when replacing the wires. This wires are suitable for regular 14 snare drums.
