About Jojo Mayer Drummer of the band “Nerve” Jojo Mayer was born in Zurich Switzerland and grew up to be one of the most renowned drummers to date. At 18 years old he toured all over Europe playing at jazz festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival; from there he began to get recognised by an international audience. Despite his major contribution to his band “Nerve” Mayer has been a dedicated solo artist building up a creative and skilled drumming sound. Designing the Perfect Balance Pedal with Sonor in 2012 was a huge milestone for the classic drummers career especially when the pedals design is impressive even in the modern day. Jojo Mayers Idea Jojo Mayer designed the Perfect Balance Signature pedal as he couldnt find the right pedal for him. He struggled to find a pedal that had just the right amount of action with a great beater return so he got to work alongside Sonor.
