The SM58 Microphone Transmitter combines the classic SM58 with exceptional 24-bit digital audio quality. It delivers pristine sound across its 100-meter range. The interchangeable capsule allows for versatility in different situations, as you can customize your microphone with Shure’s famous sound signatures. Just like the receiver, the transmitter features one-press IR sync for a seamless connection. The backlit display screen provides visibility of channel/group frequency or battery runtime. You can confidently run multiple systems simultaneously with the Network Scan feature, which simplifies the setup process for large events.

With the Shureplus Channels App, you can remotely monitor and control your networked system from anywhere using your iPad or iPhone. This app allows you to view battery levels, RF status, audio levels, and make real-time gain adjustments. It offers a convenient and intuitive way to manage your wireless rig during performances.

To ensure confidentiality, the system is equipped with AES-256 Encryption, providing a private one-to-one relationship between the transmitter and receiver for secure wireless transmission. You have options for powering your QLX-D transmitter. It can run for 9 hours on the included AA batteries or you can take advantage of Shure’s rechargeable technology with the SB900 lithium-ion battery, which provides 10 hours of run time. Various charging options are available, including an eight-bay charger, a single-battery USB charger, and the dual docking station, which allows for charging without removing the battery.

Setting up the system is quick and easy. Simply perform an Automatic Channel Scan by pressing the menu button on the receiver. The group and channel will appear on the display screen within seconds. Pairing the transmitter with the receiver is done by pressing the sync button while aligning the transmitter’s IR window with the receiver display. Once a solid connection is established, you’re ready to go.
