The QLXD2/B87A handheld transmitter comes with several accessories included in the box. These include the Beta 87A microphone capsule, a microphone clip, and a zipper bag. Additionally, it requires two AA batteries to operate.

Features of the QLXD2/B87A transmitter include a clear and uninterrupted signal over a 100-meter range, up to 9 hours of continuous use with AA batteries, and one-press IR sync for easy pairing with the receiver. The 24-bit/48kHz digital audio quality offers exceptional detail, and the device boasts over 120 dB of dynamic range without the need for transmitter gain adjustments. The backlit LCD screen and easy-to-navigate menu and controls make operation simple, and you can choose to display either the group/channel frequency or battery runtime.

The QLXD2/B87A also features an interchangeable Beta 87A capsule, which offers the iconic sound that Shure is known for. The integrated shock mount and pop filter ensure clear and clean sound by reducing unwanted background noise. In terms of specifications, the transmitter has a mic offset range of 0 to 21 dB, and it can be powered by either Shure SB900A Rechargeable Li-Ion batteries or AA batteries. The battery runtime is up to 10 hours with the Shure SB900A and up to 9 hours with AA batteries.
