Shure GLXD14R+ Digital Wireless Guitar System
The Shure GLXD14R+ Digital Wireless Guitar System is designed for wireless instrument use, particularly for guitars, in a variety of settings. It is well-suited for small-to-medium-sized music venues, houses of worship, and conference halls. This system offers a complete guitar sound with the convenience of a wireless setup. The GLX-D+ operates with dual-band wireless technology, scanning for the cleanest channels within its 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands to ensure stable and interference-free performances. Additionally, the system provides automatic pairing between transmitters and receivers, making it incredibly convenient for traveling performers or events with rapid turnarounds.

The GLX-D+ system includes a redesigned rechargeable lithium-ion battery that offers up to 12 hours of continuous use from a single charge. It also features quick charging capabilities, providing 1.5 hours of use from just a 15-minute charge. The system comes with the WA302 wireless instrument cable, allowing you to connect your guitar directly to the bodypack transmitter, eliminating the need for long trailing cables without compromising on sound quality.

The GLX-D+ family of wireless systems operates in both the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency ranges. This new development provides a significant increase in available bandwidth, allowing the system to find a clean, clear channel for optimal sound quality and stability. The system automatically scans for suitable channels when turned on, without requiring any buttons to be pressed. It also selects backup frequencies in case of interference, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted performance.

Shure has extended the battery life of the GLX-D+ system. In the 5.8 GHz band, the system offers up to 12 hours of continuous use, and in the 2.4 GHz band, it can last up to 17 hours. This makes it suitable for long events without the need for frequent battery changes. The system is specifically designed for guitars, with the included WA302 instrument cable providing freedom of movement for guitarists while eliminating long trailing wires on the stage, thus maintaining a clean and uncluttered performance space.

The GLX-D+ system includes the GLXD4R+ Wireless Receiver, GLXD1+ Bodypack Transmitter, WA302 Instrument Cable, PS43 Power Supply, SB904 Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery, Zippered Vinyl Bag, and Rack Mount Hardware. It offers dual-band digital wireless performance, making it easy to find clean channels and prevent interference and dropouts. Transmitters and receivers are instantly paired for quick and easy setup. The improved lithium-ion battery provides extended battery life, and the system is rack mountable for convenient storage and transport.

The GLXD4R+ Dual Band Rack Receiver has dimensions of 7.7 x 6.4 x 1.6 in (196.8 x 162.97 x 41.8 mm), and it weighs 30.5 oz. (866 g) without batteries. It features a steel housing, offers 14.5 V – 17 V 600 mA power requirements, and has a gain adjustment range of -18 to 42 dB. The receiver includes XLR and 6.35 mm (1/4″) outputs with impedance balanced configuration.

The GLXD1+ Dual Band Bodypack Transmitter has dimensions of 4.5 x 2.6 x 1.1 in (115 x 66.94 x 28.51 mm) without the antenna and weighs 5.4 oz. (153.1 g) without the battery. It features a cast-metal black powder coat housing, 3.7 V rechargeable lithium-ion power requirements, and a 10 mW E.I.R.P. max RF output power. The transmitter has a 4-pin male mini connector (TA4M) input and supports an unbalanced input configuration.
