Please note that the Shure BLX88 Wireless Receiver operates in the 606 – 630 MHz band. Operating wireless equipment in UHF Channel 38 (606 – 614 MHz) requires a valid license. The receiver offers various features, including up to 12 compatible systems (region dependent), microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity, and one-touch QuickScan for locating the best open frequency. Other specifications include different audio output options, LED audio status indicators, and durable construction with molded ABS.
The BLX88 receiver does not include certain features such as active antenna capabilities, bias via BNC, high-density mode, interference detection, and remote control. It is not compatible with DANTE audio network interface and does not support scan features like QuickScan. The unit does not have detachable antennas, logic capabilities, or cascade functionality. Optional URT2 rack hardware is available for rack mounting.
The receiver is designed with LEDs for receiver displays and does not have a line mic switch. It provides a typical image rejection of 50 dB and RF sensitivity of -105 dBm for 12dB SINAD. Phantom power protection is not included. The BLX88 receiver weighs 429 g and has dimensions of 40 mm (height), 388 mm (width), and 116 mm (depth).
