Shure BLX14/MX53-S8 Wireless Earset System with MX153
The Shure BLX14/MX53-S8 Wireless System features an ultra-discrete earset microphone that is incredibly light and comfortable. It is designed to be so comfortable that you may even forget you’re wearing it, allowing you to perform without distraction. The system is built to ensure a rock-solid signal from the transmitter to the receiver, eliminating interference and drop-outs. This ensures that you sound completely clear during your performance. The system also features one-touch Quickscan technology, which makes finding the best frequency for your performance as easy as pushing a button. There is no trial and error or complicated setup required, just one press.

To set up the system, simply plug the microphone output into a channel on your mixing desk, just like a normal wired microphone. Perform a Quickscan by pressing the group button on the receiver, which searches your environment to locate the clearest frequency for your performance. Plug your MX153 Earset into the TGQ connection on the transmitter, and use the group and channel buttons to pair the transmitter to the receiver. The ready LED on the receiver will light up, indicating that the system is ready for use. Finally, adjust the transmitter gain dial to suit your voice, and you’re ready to perform with wireless freedom.

The MX153 Earset Microphone is incredibly small and discreet, but it still captures an incredible amount of detail. It enhances intelligibility by preventing plosives and boominess, resulting in a pristine sound. The microphone offers a secure over-ear fit thanks to soft-flex materials, making it perfect for high-profile events such as presentations, theater, or broadcasting.

The Shure BLX System provides wireless freedom with total peace of mind. The receiver has a “ready” LED that indicates when your system is set up and secure. You don’t need to worry about signal dropouts, as an LED switches from green to red if the channel starts clipping, indicating that you need to adjust the transmitter’s gain. The transmitter also has an LED monitor that tells you when the batteries are running low. The BLX Wireless System is designed to be clear and simple for effortless setup straight out of the box.
