The Shure A27M Stereo Microphone Adapter is designed for creating stereo recordings by securely holding two microphones in selectable positions. It is particularly useful for broadcasting recording and sound reinforcement applications, as it allows two microphones to be mounted on one stand while still maintaining the ability to independently position each microphone.
The A27M adapter can be used for coincident or closely spaced mounting, with a wide range of directional angles and vertical microphone separations options of 1.25 (31.8 mm), 2 5/8 (66.7 mm), or 4 (102 mm). To ensure a secure installation, the adapter comes with a cable clamp.

The Shure A27M Stereo Adapter is composed of two vertically stacked sections that can rotate on their centres. Each section includes a 5/8″-27 threaded stud and locking ring, allowing for the attachment of various microphones. The bottom section of the adapter features a 5/8″-27 adapter for easy mounting on a microphone stand.
