Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 Wireless Receiver U1/5 Band
The Sennheiser EW-DX EM 2 is a wireless receiver designed for Evolution Wireless Digital transmitters. It has an 88 MHz switching bandwidth and intermodulation-free operation for up to 293 channels with secure AES-256 encryption. As well as this, it has a redundant power supply using Power over Ethernet (PoE).

The EW-DX system itself is a digital UHF system that can be scaled with ease. It has AutoScan, which allows for quick and easy setup and deploys frequencies with equidistant channel spacing. As well as this, Sennheiser has provided a range of tools including Control Cockpit Wireless System Manager and Smart Assist App so you can monitor and control your system remotely.

Simplify your wireless workflow. The EW-DX EM 2 makes it easy to receive audio signals from Evolution Wireless transmitters. The Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec ensures a low latency of 1.9 ms while the wide dynamic range means you don’t have to set gain on wireless transmitters. Plus, the onboard controls make it super easy to change settings with ease.

Thanks to Autoscan, you can set up your wireless system too. At the push of a button, you can get multiple transmitters set up at equidistant frequency intervals; great if you want a super-scalable system to work with. And as well as this, there are a wide range of Sennheiser apps you can use to manage and control your wireless setup – great if you are looking to configure a large system.

Features:
– Digital half rack unit with two channels in a rugged metal housing
– Switching bandwidth up to 88 MHz
– Proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC) allows for low latency of 1.9 ms
– The dynamic range is 134 dB so you don’t need to set gain on any wireless transmitters (this is thanks to SePAC)
– Easily allocate intermodulation-free channels with equidistant channel spacing – 600Hz spacing for up to 146 channels, link density (LD) mode has 300 kHz spacing for up to 293 channels
– Network-enabled so you can use Sennheiser Control Cockpit Wireless System Manager and 3rd party systems – all enabling expanded remote control
– Power over Ethernet and Ethernet connectivity
– Securely transmit confidential content using AES 256 encryption
– AutoScan allows for quick setup with equidistant channel spacing for frequencies – and you don’t even need RF knowledge
– Shows the quality of the links separately to RF levels with the Link Quality Indicator
– Use the Smart Assist App over BLE for remote control up to 25 meters
– Easy-to-use interface with an OLED display, jog wheel navigation, and control buttons
– Volume controllable headphone output on the front panel
– More menu settings include a custom frequency list, selectable sync parameter, and walk test
