The Sennheiser EK IEM G4 Wireless Receiver is designed with a robust bodypack and provides exceptional clarity throughout the entire frequency spectrum. It is fully compatible with Sennheiser’s WSM control software, allowing for flexible frequency allocation. The receiver can support up to 16 channels and can be powered by either two AA batteries or Sennheiser’s BA 2015 rechargeable battery (battery not included). Additionally, it comes with a pair of IE 4 earphones and has a transmission range of up to 100 meters (300 feet).

The features of the EK IEM G4 include easy and flexible wireless synchronization between the transmitter and receiver through infrared technology. It is also compatible with Sennheiser’s WSM control software, providing flexibility in frequency allocation. The receiver has a bandwidth of up to 42MHz with 1680 selectable frequencies, and it operates in a stable UHF range. Its high RF output power (up to 30mW) varies according to country regulations.

The specifications of the EK IEM G4 include a wideband FM modulation and a frequency range of 614MHz – 638MHz. It has a maximum of 1680 frequencies adjustable in 25kHz steps and 20 frequency banks with up to 16 factory-preset channels, ensuring minimal intermodulation. The receiver has a switching bandwidth of up to 42MHz and a sensitivity of less than 4µV.

Other features include high intermodulation attenuation, blocking of at least 80dB, adjustable squelch ranging from 5 to 25dBµV in 2dB steps, and the option to switch off the pilot tone squelch. The output power of the receiver at 2.4V with 5% THD nominal deviation is 2 x 100mW at 32 Ohms. It also has a high boost of +8dB at 80kHz and a limiter that can be adjusted from -18dB to -6dB in steps of 6dB, or switched off. The temperature range for operating the receiver is -10°C to +55°C. It can be powered by two AA batteries or the BA 2015 Accupack, with a nominal voltage of 3V for batteries and 2.4V for the rechargeable battery. The current consumption at nominal voltage is approximately 140mA, and it can operate for approximately 4 to 6 hours depending on the volume level. The dimensions of the receiver are approximately 82mm x 64mm x 24mm, and it weighs approximately 125g including batteries.
