The e965 is developed for professional stage use and combines the advantages of premium studio and stage microphones. It has a high resolution sound that is complemented by excellent noise rejection and a durable metal construction. The microphone is flexible and responsive to even the finest sounds, and it can switch between two pick-up patterns. These patterns include the cardioid, which delivers a tight-focused sound and provides off-axis rejection of unwanted noise, and the supercardioid, which has an even tighter pick-up pattern with less sensitivity at the rear of the microphone. You can easily switch between these patterns by twisting off the head of the microphone and using the slider underneath.
The switchable polar patterns provide excellent flexibility for the user. The cardioid pattern is ideal for sounds directly in front of the microphone and offers excellent feedback rejection. The supercardioid pattern is suitable for capturing a group of instruments or vocalists. The package includes the e965 microphone, MZQ 800 microphone clamp, pouch, user manual, and warranty document.
Features of the e965 include a large-diaphragm true condenser microphone, forceful high-resolution sound, switchable pick-up pattern (cardioid/supercardioid), low-cut and pre-attenuation options, excellent handling noise rejection, and pop and wind protection. The microphone has an extremely rugged metal housing.
