The specially blended metal formula provides a natural EQ effect to the snare drum highlighting the low end while retaining the crisp high-end attack.
Perfect Balance of Tone The Sabian Hybrid Snare Wire is made from a mix of phosphor bronze and stainless steel. The bronze features an incredibly tight wind for additional snare to drum head contact maximising the response from the snare drum. In the centre of the snare wire is eight strands of high-carbon stainless steel which helps deliver a fatter tone that is less staccato. There is a larger wind than with the bronze wires reducing snare-to-head contact. This provides the perfect balance between fat tone and crisp attack.
