Roland VR-09-B V-Combo Keyboard
The Roland VR-09-B V-Combo Keyboard is a versatile instrument that offers a wide variety of sounds for gigging musicians. It features three sound engines that produce authentic synth organ and piano tones. With its lightweight and durable design, it is easily transported between venues, making it ideal for touring and working musicians.

Musicians have a choice of 245 voices, including organs, synths, and pianos, that will suit every style. The 61 unweighted keys are velocity sensitive for more nuanced playing. The VR-09-B’s intuitive control panel allows for easy edits and tweaks to your sound while on stage.

The dedicated piano, organ, and synth engines contain a vast range of essential sounds perfect for creative musicians. The acoustic grand piano features 88-note stereo multi-sampling and delivers a professional-level piano sound that rivals Roland’s dedicated stage pianos. There are also vintage E.Piano sounds with complementary effects, including vintage phaser and tremolo.

Roland’s SuperNATURAL technology powers the VR-09-B’s tonewheel organs with nine harmonic bars, providing instant performance control. A newly developed transistor-type organ offers the unique sound of combo instruments from the 1960s. The keyboard has an extremely fast response, perfect for organ techniques such as trill, sputter, glissando, and percussive hits. Rotary speaker and amp simulators reproduce the characteristics of vintage organ speaker cabinets and overdriven tube circuits with impressive realism, and a new Twin Rotary option delivers a unique deep and aggressive effect.

The V-Combo VR-09-B is packed with synthesizer sounds from vintage analogue classics to modern-era digital tones and beyond. Front panel controllers allow you to tweak the synth tones intuitively in real time, including convenient ADSR and cutoff/resonance adjustment with the harmonic bars from the organ block. Effects like Bit Crash help you create modern sounds for current dance music genres.

The V-Combo’s layout is specially designed for live performances. The sound engines are organized in three easy-to-reach blocks on the front panel, alongside a clear LCD screen, allowing for easy access when performing, especially useful on dark stages. You have full control over your sound with nine sliders and an array of knobs and buttons for tweaking effects and parameters. The smart interface also makes it simple to set up splits and layers on the fly and to save all your keyboard settings in the user memory for instant recall during gigs.

Roland offers a free VR-09-B iPad Editor app that gives you extra control of the organ and synth sounds using your iPad’s touchscreen. You can edit and customize vintage tonewheel characteristics and take your iPad to a gig for real-time controls on stage. Convenient cable-free communication between the V-Combo VR-09-B and iPad is simple to set up with Roland Wireless Connect.
