Rode NT55 Studio Condenser Microphone - Secondhand
The Rode NT55 Studio Condenser Microphone is in excellent condition and fully functional. It comes with a case, clip, and spare head. This product is secondhand but has been carefully inspected by our team to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.

For recording audio in various settings, the NT55 offers flexibility and practicality. It can be used to record instruments in the studio, dialogue in a vocal booth, or live performances. The microphone features a three-position pad to prevent distortion from high-output sources and a three-stage high-pass filter to control unruly frequencies. These features contribute to high-fidelity sound that is suitable for any professional project.

The box includes the NT55 Condenser Microphone, a microphone clip, and two microphone heads. The microphone has a warm sound produced by a “true” externally biased condenser and a gold-sputtered 1/2″ capsule. It also has a three-position pad switch (-10dB and -20dB) to prevent peaks and clipping. The three-position high-pass filter (flat, 75Hz, and 150Hz) helps control low frequencies.

With a wide and flat frequency response, the NT55 is perfect for vocals and instruments. Its cardioid polar pattern reduces background noise and feedback, while the omnidirectional polar pattern captures the sound of the room. The microphone is built with a heavy-duty nickel-plated body to withstand busy studio sessions. It also features surface mount circuitry for exceptional performance and low operation noise.

The NT55 requires P48 (48V) phantom power supply. It has a pressure gradient acoustic principle and offers both cardioid and omnidirectional directional patterns. The frequency range is 20Hz to 20kHz (with selectable HPF), and the output impedance is 100 ohms. The microphone has a signal-to-noise ratio of 79dB SPL (A-weighted per IEC651) and an equivalent noise level of 15dBA SPL (A-weighted per IEC651). The maximum SPL is 136dB SPL (@ 1kHz, 1% THD into 1K ohm load) and the maximum output voltage is +8dBu (@ 1kHz, 1% THD into 1K ohm load). The sensitivity is -38dB re 1 Volt/Pascal (12mV @ 94dB SPL) +/- 2dB @ 1kHz. The dimensions of the microphone are 145mm (height) x 20mm (width) x 20mm (depth), and it weighs 110g.
