The Rode Blimp Extension is an add-on component kit for the Rode Blimp windshield system. It allows the use of long shotgun microphones such as the Rode NTG8 and any shotgun with a barrel length of up to 600mm.

The kit includes a 256mm blimp extension piece, two sets of rigid silicone bands, an extra long DeadWombat fur windshield, and a furry brush. It’s important to note that a Rode Blimp is required to use this product.
