Stereo setups made easy. The Radial Tonebone BigShot ABY True Bypass Switcher offers superb functionality in a compact easy-to-use format. If you run a two-amp setup and need a pain-free way of quickly switching between the two or engaging both simultaneously, the BigShot has you covered.
Power is no longer essential, meaning if you’re a plug short, this pedal will still offer full ABY switching capabilities. The lack of buffering, loading, or tone altering circuitry ensures signal purity at all times, making this a remarkably simple pedal that meets all your switching needs.
Passive performance. No need for batteries or power supplies here. The Radial Tonebone BigShot ABY True Bypass Switcher is a passive device offering top-quality performance without active power. The BigShot can be configured in multiple ways to suit different applications.
Combining two amps and a tuner means you can keep the buffered tuner out of the main signal path to help maintain purity of tone. For older amps that may not have remote switching, the BigShot can be used as a rudimentary switcher. Alternatively, you can configure it as a mute footswitch to quickly silence either amplifier.
The three switches located in the center of the pedal offer additional functionality. Furthest to the left is Lift, which disconnects the ground from the cable shield on output B, helping reduce unwanted noise. Located in the middle is the 180° polarity reverse switch, which phase-matches your amps for improved performance. Finally, furthest right is the ISO switch, which engages an internal transformer to eliminate ground loop hum.
