The Radial Backtrack Stereo Audio Switcher is a versatile device that allows you to easily switch between two separate stereo sources. It features 1/4 TRS and 3.5mm stereo inputs, as well as 1/4 TRS and XLR outputs, making it compatible with a wide range of input and output sources. The XLR outputs are transformer isolating, eliminating any buzz and hum from ground loops. They also include a ground lift switch to further reduce noise. The device uses an A/B switch to choose between stereo inputs, and you can even connect a JR-2 remote for remote switching.
In addition to the switching capabilities, the Backtrack has a mute switch and a dedicated headphone output with its own level control and input selector switch. This allows you to silently monitor and check both sources without affecting the outputs on stage.
