Three part design for one acoustic solution Three precision engineered components make up each Primacoustic RX9 Down Fire Recoil Stabiliser which each combine to give you a stable and isolated monitor base. At the bottom a block of high density open cell acoustic foam forms the isolating buffer between surfaces and monitors. Above that the laser cut steel platform adds rigidity and mass to the base making it very stable. The curved front edge of the steel platform also helps to eliminate standing waves keeping your sonic environment clearer. Finally on top of the steel platform a non slip neoprene layer eliminates the recoil of your speakers and focuses your sound. Down fire applications The down fire recoil stabiliser angles your monitor down by 5°. This makes it ideal for studios with fixed shelves just above the ideal listening spot. You can also place your monitors on top of tall meter bridges and angle them down with making it easier to find the sweet spot in your studio. The down fire construction could eliminate the need for monitor stands.
