The Premier Genista Heritage 24″ 4pc Shell Pack offers the distinctive look and sound of the original Genista. This vintage inspired setup features all-birch shells with 5.6mm 7-ply toms for a full-bodied tone with great attack and decay. The 9-ply 7.2mm bass drum offers exceptional volume -perfect for the stage and studio alike. The tom shells boast the original Genista 6mm under sizing on their diameter. This design ensures an easier and more accurate tuning experience whilst guaranteeing optimal clarity and definition. All Genista shells are precision cut and feature a 45-degree bearing edge which helps to further increase attack resonance and sustain for optimum sound performance. The tension lug design was a firm favourite of many drummers who played the original Genista series. All castings have been retooled from the original factory drawings for maximum authenticity performance and aesthetic. Each lug is subsequently fitted to their respective shell using an isolating moulded plinth to guarantee a larger than life uncompromising tone. Please Note: No hardware is included in this purchase. Hardware that complements the shells The Premier Genista features Premier’s bespoke designed brackets with integral memory locks that offer maximum stability and reliability. The inclusion of a low-profile ISO mounting system enhances the tonal resonance of the mounted toms offering additional sustain whilst reinforcing the classic Genista look. This when paired with the 2.3mm triple-flange hoops helps minimise the risk of undesirable overtones for articulate tom fills. Finishes that pay homage to the predecessor Every Genista Heritage finish pays tribute to its predecessors with a choice of stain and sparkle high-gloss lacquer finishes. Synonymous with quality at the heart of each shell is the famous “P” badge. Each Genista shell is also protected with an anti-moisture internal lacquer to preserve and prolong its life in humid environments.
