The Pioneer DJM-V10-LF is a new and improved mixer that will enhance the set-up of any DJ. It features six 60mm shaft slide faders, providing greater control when mixing and allowing for precise adjustments without compromising the mix. Similar to the DJM-V10, the DJM-V10-LF includes two retro fader curves optimized for the extra length offered. Additionally, a brand new curve preset allows for fine-tuning of dynamic changes on every channel for precise control over the mixer’s output. With studio-grade 64-bit mixing and dithering processing, as well as 32-bit high-quality A/D and D/A converters, the DJM-V10-LF ensures incredible accuracy in sound reproduction. The on-board four-band EQ and one-knob compressor offer further control over the sound, making shows sound amazing.
The mixer provides multiple channels for a wide range of connectivity options, accommodating CDJs, turntables, samplers, synths, and drum machines. Set up is made easy with analog inputs that directly line up with the assigned channels. The DJM-V10-LF also features a USB A terminal and a 1/4-inch TS jack for connection to sounds arranged using the RMX-1000 app for iPad or other FX apps, as well as for recording sets without degradation in sound quality. It is also possible to route insert-type hardware effect units through the 1/4-inch TS jack connection.
The DJM-V10-LF offers total tonal control with its newly designed four-band EQ and built-in compressor. The EQ allows for ultra-control over the input signal, isolating the high and/or low frequencies and tweaking the two mid ranges with custom curves. Each channel has an independent compressor knob for matching old and new tracks with varying degrees of compression. The channel fader provides precise level control.
Dedicated send and filter sections on the DJM-V10-LF allow for sending audio to built-in FX or external equipment. Guitar pedals, FX units, and more can be connected to the TS jack send/return terminals, creating unique sounds and remixes. The filter section offers the ability to subtly tweak audio or completely alter the sound of a track with high and low pass filters and a resonance control knob.
The mixer’s effects section can be controlled via a touch display, allowing for intuitive manipulation. These effects can be applied to the desired channel using the BEAT FX Assign button on each channel strip. A new Shimmer effect has been added to the DJM-V10, providing brightness to audio.
