The Korg TM-60 Tuner & Metronome provides users with both a tuner and a metronome in one compact unit. A TM-60 features a larger display screen approximately 1.3 times the size of its predecessor allowing both the tuner and metronome functions to be shown together. Its display has a backlit LCD so players can use it in dimly lit conditions such as a dark stage or orchestra pit. Buttons and controls are arranged for optimal access allowing quick parameter changes. Controls include an on/off switch for each function Calibration Beat Tempo Sound Out/Sound Back Tap Tempo and Start/Stop. The tuners LCD needle-type meter detects the pitch of orchestral and other instruments instantly with a range of C1 (32.70 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz). The metronome features a tempo range from 30 to 252 bpm as well as 3 tempo types and 15 rhythm variations. Tempo types include Pendulum Step Full Step and Tap Tempo providing excellent versatility for a range of different music styles. Tuner and metronome combined The Korg TM-60 is designed for the sophisticated musician allowing you to train both your pitch and rhythm simultaneously. Conveniently portable the tuner and metronome are combined into one compact unit so that you no longer need to switch between functions. There are marks that indicate pure major and minor third intervals allowing users to play in harmony with an ensemble. The LCD needle-type meter detects the pitch of orchestral and other instruments immediately with the wide range from C1 (32.70 Hz) to C8 (4186.01 Hz). Its metronome features a wide tempo range from 30 to 252 bpm and there also 3 tempo types to choose from with 15 rhythm variations for a variety of different music styles. Improved design The TM-60s ergonomic design offers simple use and superb performance. With a larger screen that is 1.3 times the size of the previous model the TM-60 allows both the tuner and metronome functions to be shown together. The screen features a backlit LCD display that can be set to soft or auto for use in low-light situations including a dimly lit stage or orchestral pit. It now offers a 130 hours battery life – double the previous model and perfect for long performances or practises. Other design features include a convenient folding stand for stable use and a newly designed battery compartment cover that eliminates the risk of losing it whilst replacing the batteries. Functions for every need The Korg TM-60 is loaded with Sound Out and Sound Back modes which allow tuning by ear as well as by eye. Sound Out mode lets users listen to a reference tone ranging from C3 (130.81 Hz) to C6 (1046.50 Hz) and tune your sound accordingly. Sound Back mode creates a reference tone that is close to the pitch that is being played so that you can tune more precisely by both eye and ear. There is a handy memory backup function on-board which remembers the users tuner and metronome settings even when the power is switched off.
