The Electro-Voice Everse 8 is an innovative and portable PA speaker. Drawing on Electro-Voices extensive experience in loudspeaker design, the Everse 8 packs a huge range of convenient features into its compact and weatherproof housing.
At the core of this speaker is its wireless control via Electro-Voices QuickSmart app, offering you a full and professional mixing setup directly from your phone or tablet. Using just the app, you can adjust volumes of channels, EQ settings, adjust Aux sends, load DSP effects like hall plate and room reverbs, delay and chorus, and 7-band graphic or parametric EQ.
The Everse 8’s sound is driven by an eight-inch woofer that uses patented Signal Synchronised Transducer (SST) ports and a titanium tweeter with constant-directivity waveguiding. These together provide an organic, natural sound with a powerful output of up to 121 dB and a consistent sound field that keeps the focus where it needs to be – on the performance.
The Everse 8 is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack that provides up to 12 hours of continuous use from a single charge. This battery also features overload protection circuitry to ensure your battery lasts long-term. Its polypropylene enclosure, as well as a weatherproof input cover, will protect its connector, having an IP43 rating for outdoor use, protecting it from splashes and light rain.

Wireless connectivity
The Everse 8’s wireless connectivity and depth of DSP features are its biggest features of all. With just a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone or tablet running Electro-Voices QuickSmart Mobile app, you can wirelessly stream audio to two Everse 8 speakers for true stereo wireless playback.
App-based mixing
The Everse 8’s QuickSmart app control doesn’t stop at stereo pairing, however. You’re able to mix completely from the palm of your hand with compression, treble, mid, and bass tone controls, levels, muting, and channel ducking on each of its four channels. But you can dig even deeper with input presets to apply pre-designed EQ curves to suit whatever you have connected to the channel. Want a go-to guitar EQ? Low-cut for vocals? It’s all easily accessible in an instant. It even offers control over effects sends to the Everse 8’s built-in reverbs, delays, chorus, and more to add more depth and character to your live mix. Finally, a main 7-band graphic or parametric main EQ with adjustable filter types on each band ensure you can create professional live sound from the palm of your hand.
