Industry-Standard Performance dbx are renowned for their dynamics processors and thats why youll find their 160A in studios and stage racks all over the world. The dbx 560A utilises the same switch-selectable OverEasy® and Hard Knee compression curves to give you that legendary performance in the exciting and versatile 500 Series format. The 560A boasts extremely wide-ranging threshold ratio and output controls and provides you with true RMS level detection. No more unnatural-sounding compression. This powerful module prides itself on its organic sound and impressive results. When you want to add that extra punch to your sound the 560A delivers. Whether its drums bass vocals or anything else this versatile module gives you everything from subtle and smooth compression to complete brick wall peak limiting. With a low ratio setting and OverEasy® enabled the 560A can be used to smooth out fluctuating levels whilst using high ratio settings and the Hard Knee compression curve allows you to protect against overload distortion in digital recording PA systems and broadcast signals. Plus with a 19-segment switchable I/O LED meter and a 12-segment Gain Reduction LED meter analysing your signal at a glance is easy and precise. You can also make use of the unique INFINITY + inverse-compression mode to bring the audio output level below unity gain when the input exceeds your threshold setting. Diverse 500 Series Design An intuitive workflow exceptional portability and a space-saving footprint. The 500 Series originally birthed over half a century ago has had a major impact on the audio industry as we know it. And for good reason. Built to provide a powerful outboard format without the monolithic design of some standard rack setups you can quickly and easily swap modules in and out of a 500 Series rack in minutes. This opens up a lot of doors. Experimentation with signal flow changing different modules out for different situations and the added bonus of easily being able to borrow modules from friends. All without the painstaking process of ripping out heavy rack units and crawling around trying to find where the other end of that mystery cable leads to… Its more than just a more convenient option though. 500 Series modules pack a deceiving amount of punch into their compact and portable housings. From faithful recreations of sought-after hardware to exciting innovative and unique concepts. You can build a rack that fits around you no matter where your audio journey takes you.
