Vintage Tube Warmth The dbx 376 Tube Channel Strip combines the best of both worlds featuring classic tube circuitry and premium-grade components to deliver exceptional audio fidelity and performance. At the heart of the dbx 376 is the 200V tube plate microphone preamp. This vintage-style preamp delivers the warmth and grit normally associated with classic preamps. This allows you to capture studio-grade recordings with a vintage sound ideal for vocals and instruments alike. Combining the warmth of the vacuum tube with the dbx Type IV conversion system ensures the best possible performance and warmth. Integrated Compressor EQ and De-Esser The 376 Channel Strip also includes a range of audio processing tools and parameters for getting the most out of your inputs. The dbx 376 includes a high-quality compressor de-esser and a 3-band parametric EQ section. These premium-grade tools allow you to bring the best of your recordings from cutting unwanted low-end rumble using the EQ to minimising sibilance using the de-esser. The integrated effects ensure the 376 Channel Strip is ideal for recording and tracking vocals in both the analog and digital domain. Selectable Sample Rate & Digital Outs As well as being ideal for vocals and instrument recordings the dbx 376 includes a range of controls for getting the most out of your inputs. The selectable sample rate allows you to choose between four different sample rates (44.1 kHz 48 kHz 88.2 kHz or 96 kHz) for optimal flexibility. The high-end sampling rates ensure you pick up every nuance from your source audio ensuring optimal audio fidelity. There is also selectable dithering and noise shaping for added convenience. It also boasts AES/EBU and S/DPIF digital outs as well as word clock sync input and output. The separate analog and digital output controls make it compatible with a range of external equipment. Design & Construction The robust rack-mountable design makes it ideal for both live and studio applications. The heavy-duty metal chassis ensures optimal durability easily withstanding the rigors of extensive use.
