DAddario NS Electric Traditional Bass strings are designed in partnership with Ned Steinberger specially for NS Designs instruments. These strings are designed so that they respond and feel like acoustic bass strings. They are a medium tension to give a bold sound while also being easy to bow and play pizzicato. The similar construction and feel to acoustic strings mean they produce a warm tone and fantastic bow response.
DAddario NS Electric Contemporary strings NS Electric Traditional strings are constructed with a core of steel braided together into a cable. This results in a strong but flexible string. The strings all feature nickel winding – common across all stringed instruments. There are also high C strings and low B strings available for people who have NS Designs 5 or 6 string basses. These strings are specially designed for electric upright basses they are of a shorter length to account for the lack of a tailpiece on these instruments. Medium tension These strings are medium tension and strike a balance between the projection of heavier strings and the increased stamina youd find on lighter strings.
