Sturdy construction To ensure that your new clarinet lasts a lifetime the Prodige is made from a co-polymeric ABS instead of wood. The issue with wooden clarinets especially models made from Grenadilla wood is that you have to be careful what environment you play them in. Due to their organic nature sudden humidity or temperature changes can result in the wood cracking – which is an expensive fix! You wont have any of that with the Prodige clarinet. The ABS is unaffected by environmental factors making them nearly maintenance-free. Just like every Buffet product the Prodige receives the same amount of care and attention that it deserves.
