Versatile. Powerful. Intuitive. The Behringer X32 COMPACT Digital Mixing Console is designed to give you studio quality mixing capabilities. The console’s hybrid design provides you with the very best of analog inputs and outputs with powerful digital connectivity. Feel empowered by its 40 channels, 25 busses, and 152 signal sources. All of which can be controlled and monitored via the intuitive 7-inch graphic user interface.
Expand your system. The X32 compact is compatible with up to six S16 digital stage boxes, providing you with excellent I/O connectivity and flexible routing. The rack digital mixer also features 16 superb microphone preamps. The X32 mixing console is incredibly well suited for an array of different scenarios ranging from the simple to the highly complex thanks to onboard scene management.
Smooth Mixing Experience
The intuitive design of the X32 Compact delivers a user interface that is simple to use and allows for excellent creative possibilities. With updated firmware, the mixer adds scene management control features and EQ functions such as a 100-band real-time analyzer and faster FX editing. There are also 16 new FX plug-ins to experiment with, which have been modeled on classic audio hardware for a contemporary digital sound.
Working with Turbsound, Behringer constructed a digital networking process labeled “Acoustic Integration” where users can connect iQ speakers through a simple CAT5 connection.
Faders, Scribble & Channel Strips
The X32 Compact features 17 100mm motorized servo faders to provide primary mix control. There are separate faders available for inputs and groups/buses for easy assignment. The faders work with the LCD scribble strips for an automated control surface with everything sound engineers desire. The programmable LCD strips offer channel and bus identification and are easily recognizable through the ability to assign visual groups to each input. The X32 adds an element of efficiency with a channel strip that puts the most important controls into one section, so no matter which channel you are using, the controls remain the same. The optimized control layout and illumination allows visibility from any viewing angle. The rotary encoders and switches give full control over preamp settings, frequency shelving, dual dynamics sections, fully parametric EQ, bus sends, main mono, and stereo panning.
Intuitive Display Design & Controls
A 7″ thin-film transistor display allows users to monitor their parameters and is easy to use, even in outdoor environments, with a high-contrast screen, making the mixer ideal for open-air festivals. The intelligent design puts effects metering and routing at the forefront of the control system. An integrated “sends on fade” feature allows engineers to build powerful sub-mixes for monitor secondary zone feeds and more without affecting the front-of-house mix. With the X32 Compact mixer, users can send an array of signals to any AUX or output bus to create the perfect mix via the channel faders.
Easy Control Monitoring
On the X32 Compact’s surface, sound engineers will find “view” buttons. These buttons provide instant information regarding the function of that section and the parameters set to it. This added option of control and monitoring works with the assign section, where users can set up shortcuts for favorite parameters.
