The Behringer Powerplay P16-D Ultranet Distributor is a 16-channel system designed to expand existing P16-M systems. It is compatible with the X32 Mixing Console P16-I Input Module and the S16 Digital Snake. The P16-D offers 8 x Ultranet RJ-45 outputs for system expansion. It features an integrated power supply for noise-free audio and excellent transient response.
Seamless Ultranet Connection
Ultranet is an intuitive technology that allows transmission between 16 separate channels in pristine 24-bit digital audio quality, as well as control data, through a single CAT5 cable between devices. Compatible devices include mixers, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitoring systems. Ultranet networking eliminates crosstalk and makes installation easy and time-efficient.
Excellent Components
If you already own an X32 Mixer, the P16-D can connect directly to your Ultranet output, providing power to up to 6 P16-Ms. It features LED status indicators for both RJ45 inputs and outputs, as well as an internal autorange power supply for flexibility in different countries.
Features Distribution Hub
The P16-D serves as a distribution hub for P16-I system expansion. It has 1 Ultranet input that feeds 8 Ultranet outputs (RJ-45). It provides bus-power and 16-channel signal transmission for all 8 outputs. Up to six P16-D Ultranet distributors can be combined for a total of 48 P16-M personal mixers. It also has status LED indicators for the RJ-45 input and 8 RJ-45 outputs.
