The Behringer DSL1 is a 2-in-1 Derby and Strobe lighting effect designed to get the party started. With four RGBW 3W LEDs, the Derby produces vibrant swathes of colourful light creating kaleidoscopic effects fit for any dancefloor. The Strobe uses 16 white LEDs, producing lighting flashes of light that will add a visual edge to your music.
Of course, the real fun happens when you combine these two effects together, creating exciting dynamic lightshows. These can be controlled via a range of different modes: DMX for integration with other lights, master/slave for combination with another fixture, or light-to-music to let the beat control your visuals. There’s also standalone modes – three AUTO and 20 strobe – which are controlled by the included IRC1 remote.
You’ll find the DSL1 is ideal for parties, DJ sets, or any event that needs a splash of colour. It can be used as a portable fixture, rugged enough to haul from venue to venue, but can work well as a permanent staple too. For more in-depth control, you can use DMX mode, allowing you to integrate the DSL1 into a larger rig. There’s a master/slave mode too, allowing you to pair this fixture with another so they can work in tandem. To top it off, you can simply let the DSL1 follow the beat with a sound detecting music-to-light mode.
