The Behringer CM1A 16-Bit MIDI to CV Converter Module is a flexible Eurorack module that allows you to control your modular synth with a MIDI keyboard sequencer or DAW. Take control of your synth and open up a new world of performance by connecting the world of MIDI to Eurorack friendly control voltages.
Connect to your computer via the front panel USB and control your virtual instruments through your DAW or send MIDI via the 5-pin DIN connector from your favourite MIDI keyboard or sequencer. You can even do updates via the USB to ensure you are always up to date with any advancements in firmware as well as accessing additional features via the SynthTribe app such as selecting pitch bend range and MIDI input channel.
A hidden switch on the rear of the unit provides a huge range of flexibility to cater to your Eurorack allowing you to configure the CV range for the range of SYSTEM15/35/55 or more traditional modular synthesizers. This switch also lets you switch between monophonic and duophonic modes to ensure a highly accurate pitch. Fitted with a 16-bit Texas Instruments DAC, the CM1A ensures the highest resolution and most accurate pitch detection accuracy as possible going above and beyond what is conventionally available.
The Behringer CM1A offers flexible connections, allowing you to control your modular synthesizer in a plethora of different ways. Connect your computer to the USB input and control your CV and Trigger outputs via a DAW. Utilize your MIDI controller by plugging into the MIDI THRU and Input and transmit signals by playing your keyboard as you normally would. This opens a new world of possibilities, especially for live performers and musicians, where you can now control the melodic phrasing of your modular synth through a keyboard.
Equipped with dual trigger outputs, you can control any of your favorite envelope generators with the CM1A. Switch between V-trig, S-trig, or both output simultaneously via the Trig Mode Switch. This will allow you to gate signals through many different kinds of modules that may use different circuits, so you will always be in control and have access to use through all of your preferred modules.
Featuring a slim-line 6HP design, the CM1A will integrate seamlessly into your existing Eurorack case without taking up a significant amount of space. A quick and easy power connection is all that is needed to get the CM1A up and running in your setup, avoiding any complicated setups and calibrations to get stuck into your modular synth.
