The Behringer Abacus is an analog music computer for Eurorack. This algebraic sound processor is modeled after Buchlas* models 257 and 281 from the 60s enabling you to perform a wide range of linear logarithmic and exponential triggered or continuous functions. You can generate musical envelopes or LFO signals up to 25 minutes and as fast as 1 kHz and change the depth of modulation or even modulate backwards for increased creative freedom.
This versatile music computer enables you to create musical events such as ramping up or down in tempo amplify attenuate integrate or invert incoming signals for unlimited creativity and apply lag slew or portamento to control voltages for unique warped effects. You can initiate musical events upon sensing motion in the system create note division and flam for amazing effects and generate complex modulations by combining up to 4 CVs.
