The Behringer 12dB State Variable Filter Module 1047 is a vintage-style multimode filter perfect for sound design. It allows you to texture sounds and sculpt your tone. The module is based on a 2500-style design and utilizes authentically reproduced circuitry to achieve the same sound as the modules from the 70s. With its in-depth controls, you can change the coarse and fine filter parameters, as well as the resonance and notch frequency. The classic design has been revamped for the modern age with CV connectivity and dedicated controls for dialing in levels. Included are two summed frequency CV attenuators and a resonance (Q) CV attenuator, offering endless possibilities for shaping sound.
The 2500 series modules, first released in the 70s, were highly popular among industry-leading artists. The unique sonics of these modules were embraced by artists from The Who to Vangelis and even Kraftwerk. Thanks to Behringer, you now have the opportunity to enter the hall of fame and become part of the legacy. The module features an authentic reproduction of the original circuitry and matched transistors for a vintage sound. It also includes coarse and fine frequency controls, a resonance (Q) control, and two summed frequency CV attenuators and a resonance (Q) CV attenuator.
The specifications of the module include various inputs and outputs. The inputs consist of a 3.5 mm TS jack DC coupled input, a frequency CV input 1 and 2, and a Q CV input. The outputs include filter outputs for LP, HP, BP, and Notch. The module has a current draw of 55 mA (+12 V) and 45 mA (-12 V). Its dimensions are 43 x 81 x 129 mm (1.7 x 3.2 x 5.1″) and it weighs 0.17kg.
