The Arturia Vox Continental V is a meticulous recreation of a vintage electric organ. Producing the unmistakable sounds heard in a wide range of classic songs by artists from The Doors to The Animals, Elvis Costello, and even a few Beatles tracks, The Vox Continental V puts the distinct warbling and resonant tones into your music.
Combining True Analog Emulation modeling techniques with modern software, Vox Contintental V gives you more flexibility and functionality than what’s possible with the original hardware. Expanded with authentic guitar amp and rotary speaker modeling and vintage pedal FX emulations, extended drawbar modes, improved tremolo and vibrato modulations, state-of-the-art reverb models, vintage circuitry randomness, and much more, creating exciting classic electric organ tones has been made easy. Meticulously recreated authenticity Capturing every facet of the Continental 300 with careful attention to detail, the Vox Continental V duplicates the original controls and behaviors for an entirely faithful transistor organ experience. Arturia has even gone so far as to add a guitar amp and rotary speaker modeling, as well as vintage pedal FX, to produce the most authentic VOX experience you can have. Beyond the look and sound of the VOX Continental V, you can expect a similarly authentic experience in the total operation of the instrument. Drawbars duplicate the single pipes, roman-numeral blend tones, and waveform balancers of the original. Furthermore, a one-octave bass pedal board features its own drawbars and adjustable decay. Access both manuals and the bass pedals from a single MIDI controller or many with quick setup tabs.
Expanded ability and modern convenience Included within the VOX Continental V are Extended mode and an advanced panel for further customization of the already powerful sound that offers more customization than ever. Extended mode grants access to eight drawbars per manual, as well as an additional sawtooth waveform for adaptable tonal control. On top of this, Arturia has included more modulation options than ever to create dynamic and interesting sounds by fine-tuning the rate and depth of tremolo and vibrato. Contemporary convolution technology accurately reproduces the classic spring and plate reverbs that were often used with the Vox organ, so you can replicate the same tones and spaces as utilized on your favorite tracks. Each note’s generator now features tuning screws that allow you to dial in the perfect amount of detuning for a completely authentic sound. With both the Continental engine and the rarer Jennings J70 to choose from, Continental V offers more range for great-sounding organs than ever. Furthermore, bring in hum and key contact randomness to simulate a Vox of any vintage.
Powered by TAE technology Using proprietary modeling algorithms, VOX Continental V is able to recreate the iconic instruments down to the component parts to create unrivaled realism and immersion. Unmatched in analog emulation, VOX Continental V is powered by TAE and Phi technologies. TAE offers component-level modeling to accurately present the characteristics and behavior of the instrument, while Phi’s state-of-the-art physical modeling brings the acoustic properties into the virtual world for hyper-realism. The result is truly a next-level sound that is indistinguishable from the original to add to your productions.
Reviews “All the parameters you would expect tweakable have been faithfully reproduced. Great attention to detail. I love this V instrument, the Arturia Vox Continental sounds as cool as the original and moves with you more easily. Killer.” – Steve Nieve (Keyboardist) “I’ve tried a few sound emulations for the Vox. I can’t believe that it was possible to create that very unique sound digitally.” – Lana May Loveland (The Fuzztones)
