Authentic Natural Response & Feel
The Surge Mesh Kit builds on the success of the original Surge kit from Alesis replacing the standard drum heads with mesh heads. The mesh heads on the drums provide an even more authentic and natural response feeling like conventional drums when you strike them. The electronic 8-piece design is comprised of a 10-inch dual zone mesh snare, three 8-inch dual-zone mesh tom pads, as well as an 8-inch mesh kick tower pad and pedal and three cymbals. The dual-zone snares provide added expression with the dual-zone design allowing for the trigger of two separate sounds for maximum versatility. The three cymbals include a ride cymbal, crash cymbal with choke functionality, and hi-hats.
Surge Drum Module
At the heart of the Surge electronic kit is the Surge Drum Module. This module boasts 40 kits in total, including 385 sounds and 60 play-along tracks. The module also features a built-in metronome for adhering to strict tempos and rehearsing. The built-in kits span a wide range of genres, supplying you with a wide range of versatile sounds. The module boasts integrated effects which include a Reverb and 3-band EQ, allowing you to customize your sound and sculpt your tones.
