The P420 is ideal for studio recording applications highly suited to ensemble recording piano woodwind brass and even drums and percussion. At the heart of the P420 is the one-inch dual-diaphragm capsule complete with three selectable polar patterns for maximum versatility. The switchable polar patterns allow you to attenuate the sound of the microphone for various recording applications. Some polar patterns are suited for close proximity recordings whereas others are great for overheads and ambient room micing. Wide frequency response The high-end dual-capsule design boasts a wide frequency response intended to capture every nuance of your source audio.
