The Boss RE-202 Space Echo pedal is a cutting-edge innovation from Boss, offering a new take on their legendary RE-201 pedal from the 70s. It accurately replicates the sound of its predecessor, providing a multi-tape echo delay sound that takes you to another dimension. With the original spring reverb and various other options, you can create a unique echo sound. The RE-202 offers extensive effect controls, including the Wow & Flutter knob for tape modulation. You can save and select up to 127 memories via external MIDI, use the saturation control for tape compression and preamp coloration, and use tap tempo for precise delay timing.

The Boss RE-202 combines vintage sound with modern technological perks. It allows you to access and combine the new features with the classic characteristics of the original pedal. The saturation control provides compression and warmth, while the Wow & Flutter control adds modulation effects. The RE-202 has twice the delay time compared to the RE-201 and features tap tempo control for precise shaping of your delay sound. It also offers a true stereo I/O and selectable operation for guitar and line-level devices. You can connect external footswitches or expression pedals for additional control, and manipulate dry sounds between the warmer tones of the 201 and the clean signal. The dry signal can be muted when in the studio or when running simultaneous effects.
