Radial JDI Stereo Passive Direct Box
The Radial JDI Stereo Passive DI Box is designed to provide natural tone and pristine signal integrity for every instrument, whether you are on stage or in the studio. It offers outstanding signal handling with zero distortion, making it ready for any situation. The JDI Stereo is equipped with useful tools such as a ground lift switch to eliminate unwanted noise and -15dB pads to reduce input sensitivity. Its robust and compact construction allows it to fit into tight spaces without sacrificing protection, thanks to its metal chassis.

The JDI Stereo promises a pure, uncoloured sound with no humming, buzzes, or harmonic distortion. This is achieved through the use of Jensen JT-DB-EPC audio transformers, which provide exceptional signal handling and noise rejection. The nickel core and MuMETAL shield contribute to a ruler flat frequency response of 10Hz – 40kHz with zero phase deviation, ensuring pure sound for your instruments and line level equipment. An added benefit is that no power is required for operation.

Key features of the JDI Stereo include premium signal integrity for live concert touring and professional studio applications, connection to a wide range of equipment and instruments via 1/4″ jack inputs and Thrus, balanced 150-ohm mic level outputs for a flawless connection, and a ground lift switch to remove unwanted humming and buzzes. Additionally, the 15dB pads allow you to instantly reduce input sensitivity for high output instruments.

The JDI Stereo is compact, robust, and lightweight, making it suitable for any setup. Its specifications include a passive transformer isolated type, unbalanced 130K-Ohms input impedance, balanced 150-Ohms output impedance, and a frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz. The maximum input is +21dB @ 20Hz – 20kHz, and the dynamic range is 135dB. The phase deviation is 0.3° @ 100Hz and 3° @ 20Hz. The transformer used is the Jensen JT-DB-E with a 12:1 ratio, and the shield is a dual Faraday mu-metal can. The JDI Stereo also features a -15dB input pad and AES Standard (2 pin hot) XLR configuration. It has a size of 5″ (W) x 3.3″ (H) x 1.8″ (D) and weighs 703kg. The construction consists of a 14-gauge steel chassis and outer shell, finished with a powder coat.
