The QLXD14 system is the ultimate choice for large events because of its ability to run multiple systems in perfect harmony. Thanks to the Network Scan feature, setting up multiple systems at once is remarkably simple. With a single receiver, you can scan and deploy open frequencies to all connected receivers via Ethernet. This feature allows you to coordinate the frequencies of up to 60 channels in just a few seconds. This is particularly useful in high-profile productions where the RF environment can change due to TV equipment or security personnel. A network scan will ensure your system adapts to the new RF environment effortlessly.

With the Shureplus Channels App, you have the convenience of remote monitoring and control of your wireless system. This app allows you to control your entire networked system from anywhere using your iPad or iPhone. You can view battery levels, RF status, audio levels, and more for each channel. Real-time gain adjustments can also be made easily. The app is intuitive and user-friendly, eliminating the need to be near the receivers during a performance.

To keep your presentation confidential, the QLXD system features AES-256 Encryption. This encryption establishes a private one-to-one relationship between the transmitter and receiver, ensuring an impenetrable wireless transmission. AES-256 is the highest standard of encryption available and is approved by top cryptographers worldwide. You can confidently share sensitive information without worrying about security breaches.

The QLXD transmitter provides 9 hours of continuous use with the included AA batteries. However, you also have the option to use Shure’s rechargeable technology. The optional SB900 lithium-ion battery provides 10 hours of run time and shows the remaining battery life in hours and minutes on the transmitter. There are multiple charging options available, including an eight-bay charger, a single-battery USB charger, and a dual docking station. The dual docking station allows transmitter charging without removing the battery, thanks to the external charging contacts. It only takes 3 hours to reach full capacity, or you can use the 15-minute quick-charge option for one hour of vital use in emergencies.

The QLXD transmitters and receivers are built to withstand the demanding nature of professional touring. Constructed with robust yet lightweight aluminum, these components are designed to withstand wear and tear. The included rackmount kit allows for easy integration into your current rig, ensuring safe transportation from venue to venue.

Setting up the QLXD system is quick and easy. By pressing the ‘menu’ button and ‘enter’ on the receiver, you can perform an Automatic Channel Scan. This scan will locate a clear frequency within seconds, and the group and channel will appear on the display screen. Pairing the transmitter is as simple as pressing the sync button while aligning the transmitter’s IR window to the receiver display. Once a solid connection is established, ‘good’ will be displayed on the receiver. There’s no trial and error, just a single press to get the system ready for performance.
