The Apogee EQP-1A is a software reproduction of the classic Pulteq hardware EQ. It allows you to shape sound with precision and power using its broad EQ curves. These curves interact with each other, creating EQ curves with a timeless sound. The EQP-1A has been developed in collaboration with the current Pultec manufacturer, ensuring a vintage sound with recreated circuit non-linearities.
This plugin can be used on any DAW, but it also works well with Apogee hardware DSP. Please note that this product comes in the form of a digital download code that will be sent to your email for activation.

The EQP-1A, originally released in 1951, has a heritage that spans over 60 years. It is known for its durability, optimized design, and most importantly, its incredible sound quality. These units have been used for years without breaking, and the demand for them is still high. However, not everyone can afford to buy a hardware EQP-1A.
Apogee’s software version of the EQP-1A provides an affordable alternative. They have accurately recreated the EQP-1A in collaboration with the current manufacturer, including both the main EQ features and the analog peculiarities. The bands interact with each other, and intentional circuit nonlinearities have been introduced to emulate the vintage sound.
The Apogee EQP-1A offers the following features: recreation of the Pultec EQP-1A hardware EQ, the ability to shape sounds with integrity using broad EQ curves, bands that interact to create unique EQ curves, emulation of vintage characteristics with circuit non-linearities, and development in conjunction with the current manufacturers of EQP-1As.
You can use this plugin with a DAW or with Apogee hardware DSP. The system requirements for Mac and Windows are listed below. Please note that any AUv2, VST 1 & 2, or AAX fully compliant DAW should work with this plugin.
