The Premier Della-Porta 100 Limited Edition Snare Drum is an exclusive run of 100 snares designed to mark an important milestone in the history of one of the worlds most iconic drum companies. Right down to the bespoke hard case each Della-Porta snare is handmade right here in the UK and features contributions from leading drum head brands Evans and Calftone. Remaining faithful to the drum building techniques of yesteryear the Della-Porta 100 features a 5mm 4-ply walnut shell. Traditionally formed by hand the walnut plies are rolled and lapped with scarf joints. This is reinforced via the inclusion of 6mm 4-ply beech support hoops that provide exceptional strength and stability. For maximum aesthetics the outer consists of a single ply of figured walnut. This is hand finished with protective oil which brings out the deep grain patterns of the decorative ply. The inclusion of a 30-degree round-overbearing edge also offers a tribute to the companys origins. Each Della-Porta 100 comes complete with a custom-built Premier branded centenary hard case as well as a certificate of authenticity marking which of the 100 snares will enter your collection. A tribute to Premiers rich heritage The traditional tube lugs offer an authentic look complemented perfectly by a pair of single-flange steel hoops with vintage-style claw hooks. Considered by many to be the best Premier snare strainer of all time the 610 offers a quick release feature allowing you to change the snare head without altering the snare setting and tension. Puresound 20-strand snare wires increase snar e presence overall. A collaboration between several leading drum companies Premier partnered with several specialists in their respective fields to add additional value to this unique drum. Leading head manufacturer Evans supplied custom-printed Calftone and response heads that both feature the centenary artwork. Exclusive protective carry case To complete the Della-Porta 100 Premier collaborated to produce an equally bespoke hardcase to mark the occasion. Featuring centenary branding the hard case includes padded inner protection is finished in an exclusive vintage brown moulding and is also produced in the UK. All drums are individually serial numbered and come with a certificate of authenticity whilst the accompanying hard case carries a matching serial number to its handle.
